Lack of proper bus transport facility and health issues are the major problems of Asifabad constituency. There is no road facility for 232 habitats which lies in 193 panchayats of the region. Anaemia and Malaria are the major health issues of Asifabad. Recently, government sanctioned a 250-bed hospital for Asifabad.

This geographically distinct constituency homes majority of indigenous tribes. Majority of the people speaks Marathi, Telugu, Gondi, Kolami and Lambada. Since Independence, there exists a land dispute in between Maharashtra and Telangana about 16 villages of Kerameri mandal. The people of these villages have a close relationship with Maharashtra.
