RDT, Matrubhumi, Koneru, MVF are some of the welfare organisations in Achampeta. These organisations are playing a crucial role in removing child labour, child marriages and is promoting organic farming, afforestation, watershed constructions, health care for Chenchu tribes and housing for Chenchus.

Ongoing Programmes

Funds have been granted for the restoration of lakes under Mission Kakatiya and works are under progress to supply drinking water for 221 villages under Mission Bhagiratha. For the construction of mini tankbund, Rs. 1.3 crores, for 100 bedded hospital, Rs. 18 crores and for the construction of roads, Rs. 15 crores have been sanctioned. The development of agricultural godowns and gurukulas are going on a faster pace. Road connectivity works with Rs.200 crores from all mandal headquarters to Achampeta are going on.

Pending issues

Voters of the constituency are facing severe water problem as well as farmers are not getting irrigation water to their lands. TRS government has not keen on establishing paper mill or Ayurveda university.
