There are many major, medium and minor projects in this constituency. Singur project is one of the major projects and it serves the drinking and irrigation needs of the people. Nallavagu project, Tachakattu Reservoir and Pallavaram are a few more to name.

Laying of roads, extensions and bridges, repairs of BT and CC roads works are in progress. Medak-Vadiyaram, Medak-Akkannapeta road extension works along with Medak main road extension works with Rs.102 crores and BT roads with Rs.145 crores were taken up. Pitlam, Gosamudram tanks are being developed as mini-tank bunds and Mission Bhagirath works were going on with Rs.130 crores in Narayankhed, Andole and Medak. Most importantly, the irrigation department is increasing the height of Ghanpur medium irrigation project with Rs.50 crores out of which lining works are being taken up with Rs.24.50 crores with the initiation of Mrs. Padma Devender and Minister T. Harish Rao. Rs.100 crores were sanctioned for the development of Ghanpur project. CM KCR sanctioned Rs.50 crores for the development of this project.

The closure of Nizam Deccan sugar limited factory and due to the announcement of lay off of NDSL industry in Medak district, hundreds of workers have lost their livelihood.

Edupayala in Papannapet mandal is a holy place and has got pan-national prominence. Medak is well known for its church and it is one of the famous tourist spots. Many renowned personalities have had studied in the school established by Nizams in Medak. Black Buck breeding centre in Pocharam wildlife sanctuary is in the borders of Medak district. Medak was the revenue division centre after the merging of states based on languages into Nizam State Indian Union. In 1980, Indira Gandhi contested as MP from Medak constituency and henceforth it got international recognition. The Asia's second largest church was present in the Medak district and the Wesley high school represents the model of palace and is the spot for various shootings.
