Ongoing Programmes

Development works to the tune of Rs.108 crores are going on in the constituency out of which Rs.46 crores are being spent on construction of roads with Rs.46 crores and Rs.89 crores on 28 bridges. Collector's office and guesthouse constructions are underway with Rs.7 crores. Gram Panchayat buildings agriculture godowns and other works with Rs.14 crores are also going on.

Pending issues

The works of mission Bhagiratha is still pending and the construction of 100 bedded hospital is on snail pace. The works of Ghanpuram reservoir are on. The project on Gollabhuddharam didn't come into usage even after its completion. The constructions of roads and bridges is still going on.

Important places

Pandavulagutta near Kothapally, Regonda mandal is known as tourist spot. One can experience rockclimbing at Pandavulagutta. The Kotagullu showcases the architectural skill of Kakatiyas. The famous Kodavatancha temple is attracting the tourists.

Interesting Points

Along with Sirikonda Madhusudhana Chary, various other members from the constituency are trying their luck hard to win the forthcoming elections. In the newly formed Bhupalpally constituency, Congress party candidate won as the MLA in 2014 though TRS was in power.
